Intimacy, Self-Tapes & Sensitive Material Policy
Purpose
Rebound Talent Agency is committed to ensuring that clients feel informed, supported and able to make decisions about their work free from pressure or coercion.

We recognise that auditions and productions may occasionally involve intimacy, nudity, simulated sex, sexual violence or other sensitive material. This policy sets out the standards we expect when representing our clients.
Our Principles
Clients have the right to:

-
Receive clear information about the nature of a role before deciding whether to audition.
-
Ask questions without fear of affecting future representation.
-
Decline auditions or roles involving intimacy or nudity.
-
Withdraw consent if circumstances change.
-
Be treated respectfully regardless of their decision.
A client's decision to decline intimate or sensitive material will never affect their standing with Rebound Talent Agency.

Self-Tapes
Clients should receive sufficient information before preparing a self-tape.

Where an audition contains intimate content, scripts should clearly identify this in advance.

Rebound Talent Agency does not expect clients to submit self-tapes that include:

-
Full nudity.
-
Simulated sexual activity.
-
Sexually explicit material.
-
Kissing or intimate physical contact requiring another person.
-
Material that places the client at risk of physical or emotional harm.
Where intimate content is essential for an audition, alternative approaches should be discussed with the casting team wherever possible.
Intimacy on Set
Where productions involve intimate scenes, we expect productions to follow recognised industry best practice, including:

-
Clear communication regarding intimate content before engagement.
-
Informed and ongoing consent.
-
Respect for performers' personal boundaries.
-
Appropriate closed-set procedures where required.
-
The use of an intimacy coordinator where appropriate.
Young Performers
Additional safeguards should always apply where performers are under 18.

Parents, guardians and licensed chaperones must be appropriately involved in accordance with UK legislation.
Reporting Concerns
Clients who feel uncomfortable at any stage of an audition or production are encouraged to contact the agency immediately.
Where appropriate, the agency will support clients in raising concerns with production companies, casting directors or relevant authorities.
Our Commitment
Rebound Talent Agency believes that performers should never feel pressured into compromising their personal boundaries in order to obtain work.

Professional opportunities should always be based upon informed consent, respect and safe working practices.
