Sexual Harassment
Prevention Statement

Our Commitment

Rebound Talent Agency is committed to taking all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment and to promote a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment.

This commitment reflects our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023, which introduced a proactive duty on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace from 26 October 2024.

Although many of our represented clients work on a self-employed basis, we believe the same high standards should apply across all professional relationships.

Zero Tolerance

Sexual harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Sexual harassment may include, but is not limited to:

  • Unwanted sexual comments.

  • Inappropriate jokes.

  • Sexualised remarks about appearance.

  • Unwanted touching.

  • Requests for dates or sexual favours.

  • Persistent unwanted communication.

  • Sharing sexually explicit images or messages.

  • Inappropriate conduct during auditions, rehearsals or productions.

Behaviour may constitute harassment even where it was not intended to cause offence.

Preventative Measures

Rebound Talent Agency will seek to:

  • Promote respectful behaviour across all professional interactions.

  • Provide clear standards of conduct for staff and clients.

  • Encourage early reporting of concerns.

  • Respond promptly to complaints.

  • Review policies regularly.

  • Work with production companies and casting professionals who share these standards wherever reasonably possible.

Third Parties

We recognise that performers often work with organisations outside the agency.

If a client experiences sexual harassment from a casting professional, producer, director, photographer, coach or any other third party, they are encouraged to notify the agency.

Where appropriate, Rebound Talent Agency will:

  • Support the client in considering available options.

  • Liaise with the relevant organisation where requested.

  • Maintain appropriate records.

  • Review future professional engagement with individuals or organisations where concerns have been substantiated.

Everyone's Responsibility

Creating safe working environments is a shared responsibility.

All staff, clients and professional partners are expected to contribute to an environment based upon dignity, professionalism, respect and inclusion.

Everyone has the right to work without fear of harassment, discrimination or abuse.
